Easter Egg Hunt Contest - Official Rules
The Easter Egg Hunt Contest (the “Contest”) is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and are legal residents of the United States.
Employees of Van Der Hagen, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate.
2. Contest Period:
The Contest begins on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 12:00am Central Time (“CT”) and ends on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 11:59 PM CT (the “Contest Period”).
Entries received before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified.
3. How to Enter:
To participate, contestants must:
- Follow @Vanderhagenofficial on Instagram.
- Find and screenshot each of the six hidden Easter egg images located on the Van Der Hagen Instagram page and website.
- Email all individual screenshots to Information@vanderhagen.com during the Contest Period.
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win the Contest.
Limit one entry per person.
4. Prizes:
Each participant who finds and submits any of the six Easter egg screenshots will receive the corresponding discount code or small prize for that particular egg found.
Participants who find all six eggs will win a $25 gift card to Target and will also be entered into a drawing to win a $100 gift card to Target.
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted for cash. Any gifts and gift cards will be shipped to the winners within seven (7) business days following the end of the Contest Period.
5. Winner Selection:
Winners of any found eggs will be notified of their prizes and coupon codes via email upon submission of any six Easter egg screenshots by the close of business on Tuesday, April 2.
Winners of the $25 gift cards will be notified via email upon submission of all six Easter egg screenshots by the close of business on Tuesday, April 2.
The winner of the $100 Target gift card will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
The random drawing will be conducted within seven (7) days following the end of the Contest Period.
6. Notification of Winners:
Winners will be notified via email using the email address provided at the time of entry.
If a winner does not respond within seven (7) days of notification, an alternate winner may be selected.
7. Limitation of Liability:
Van Der Hagen is not responsible for technical malfunctions, errors, or omissions related to the Contest.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Van Der Hagen and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
8. General Conditions:
Van Der Hagen reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules.
Van Der Hagen reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest. These rules are subject to change without notice.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
The Contest and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Contest shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
